Hey Halloween fans! Want to send a cute free Halloween message to your friends and family on Halloween? Then check out Appygraph! This app just launched it's most spooky collection yet, just in time for Halloween. Here's more about the app below:

"Appygraph captures little moments of happiness and makes it easy to build connections with your loved ones through your smartphone. The cards carry emotions much better than plain text messages and provide an instant, simple and easy-to-use alternative to traditional cards. You can also easily upgrade to collections based on a theme or season to share with friends and family. It’s never been easier to tell someone you’re thinking about them at milestones in your life, or to send seasonal messages when holidays come around."
"The app provides a new way to send cards to friends when you’re on the go. Cards can be texted from phone to phone anywhere in the world, allowing your friend or loved one to immediately receive and enjoy your personalized greeting. Your beautifully customized cards can also be shared for free on Facebook, email, iMessage and other third-party services (such as WhatsApp) allowing friends and family to enjoy your own pictures and messages included in the card."
Appygraph was founded by a Swiss couple named Charles and Valérie Massin. Together they combine Valérie's beautiful artwork with Charles’ coding skills exploring all possible possibilities.
After testing the app out myself, I really love how this app is easy to use and how you can add your own photos on the E cards. This app also has a nice selection of cards to choose from as well as free cards. Who doesn't love free stuff? I love the seasonal selections of cards, especially the Halloween ones! Overall it's a very nice and simple app to have. This app is free to download on the iTunes store.
Here's examples of the Halloween cards you can choose from!

Fright Nights Returns For A Second Year At The Winchester Mystery House

Fright Nights at Winchester Mystery House was hands down my favorite Haunt Attraction from 2011. It had everything I wanted in maze and more. I was amazed from all the work they put on for their first year. To the sets, the scares, the music, etc. I was completely in love with this Haunt. Fright Nights returns to the Winchester Mystery House for a second year with the "Curse Of Sarah Winchester Resurrection" maze and an all new flashlight tour. They just released an official trailer on September 5 for this year's event, watch if you dare...

"For a lifetime, Sarah Winchester built and built and rebuilt her house to avoid this treacherous curse and escape her husband’s legacy of damnation. But this Halloween, a portal, a gateway between Heaven and Hell, has been irretrievably opened. Those who perished long ago are seeking revenge, now ready to sacrifice souls before midnight strikes.

Guests find themselves trapped inside a mansion empowered by the undead, traveling through the Corn Fields of Winchester Mystery House, into the haunted ruins of the family Graveyard and ultimately, a showdown with Sarah herself in the middle of one of her infamous séances.

Survive it all, LIVE, only at Winchester Mystery House."

The maze length will 40 minutes of heart pounding terror! I'm excited to see what new additions they bring to the table as well as new unexpected scares! Check out my review from last year! http://frightbites.blogspot.com/2011/10/fright-nights-at-winchester-mystery.html

On Fright Nights official twitter page they had announced all new Flashlight Tour for this year's event. The Flashlight Tour was a great addition to add along side of the maze last year. Hearing the chilling supernatural stories while venturing through this mysterious house was a great addition to the Halloween season. Check out the description below for information on this all new tour.

"Tour the mansion as you never have before…on your own. Since her death, millions of people have visited Sarah’s home and many have reported sighting ghosts. Do the phantoms she communed with in life, or perhaps Sarah herself, still lurk nightly in the maze-like corridors of the Winchester Mystery House? You'll tour the rambling, mysterious mansion with only the moonlight, a souvenir flashlight, and your imagination to provide illumination through the bewildering labyrinth of rooms and stairways.

Guests experience bone-chilling creatures and blood-curdling moments as they find themselves trapped inside the mansion empowered by the undead."

"On your own" This creeps me out and excites me at the same time. I wonder how different it will be, only one way to find out!

Heres a photo of the special Fright Nights Flashlight that was given out on the Flashlight Tours along with Fright Nights lanyard I purchased at the Winchester Mystery House giftshop last year. I love the pins!

This year one of Fright Nights sponsors, Psycho Donuts will create a Fright Nights donut for this year's event. In August, Psycho Donuts asked If you were a Fright Nights Donut what would you be on their Facebook page. Responses included spiderwebs designs, the number 13, to donuts shaped like winchester rifles. Can't wait to see what donut made the cut!

San Jose's Annual Zombie-O-Rama IV Overview

 The zombies are coming...

On August 31st the undead invaded downtown San Jose in California for the fourth annual event called Zombie-O-Rama. This was my first year going to a Zombie event and it did not disappoint. It was definitely smaller than I expected but it was alot of fun. This event included several booths of different horror attractions, vendors, food trucks, live music, zombie fashion shows, costume contests, zombie crawls, and an outside showing of the classic film "Shaun of the Dead".

This is also family friendly event. Kids that dress up as zombies and can even take part in a zombie kid parade. Who knew zombie kids could be cute?

California's Great America Halloween Haunt hearse was in on the action too with their prize wheel. This prize wheel gave lucky zombies a chance to win Haunt tickets and very cool posters. I was lucky enough to win a poster. To add there was even Halloween Haunt zombies and ghouls scaring and entertaining guests during the event, it was a very nice touch.

Additionally here is a picture of the Halloween Haunt poster I won from the prize wheel. They were also handing out Resident Evil Retribution posters at the event. Very fitting!

Local food eateries got in the zombie spirit too! For example my favorite donut place of all time, Psycho Donuts! Psycho Donuts always puts a smile on my face with the creativity that goes into their donuts. For Zombie-O-Rama they had their special zombie inspired donuts to fuel up fellow zombies. The two zombie donuts were Zombie Crawler and Zombie Ballz. Zombie Crawler was a undead honey wheat glazed cake donut with oreo dust on top. As for the Zombie Ballz they were described as "These Ballz have risen from the dead! Covered with green tea glaze, oreo dust, and that yummy zombie blood" I tried both zombie donuts and they were delicious!

Also at the event was this cute hot dog stand called Dead Dogs. Their set up was awesome, I give them props! Look at this awesomeness here!

More photos:

Overall, this was a fun filled zombie event. I really enjoyed seeing the creative zombie costumes. Like zombie unicorns and even zombie clowns with chainsaws. It made me wish I dressed up for the event. Next time it shall be done! I did not get a chance to witness the zombie crawl but I'm sure it was a site to see! Las Vegas Will Never Be The Same With Eli Roth's Goretorium

Today Fright Bites received an exclusive insight for Eli Roth's Goretorium. Located across the street from City Center and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, this new year around twisted attraction is about to turn Sin City a hell of a lot more sinful. Check out the Press release insight scoop, down below!

Las Vegas – Director Eli Roth gives fans a first-look into Sin City’s most terrifying horror experience, Eli Roth’s GORETORIUM, with a gruesome video trailer debuting on Friday, August 10. The 30-second video gives a glimpse of what guests will be exposed to should they dare to take a tour through Las Vegas first year-round haunt, opening this September.

Check out the new horrific graphic promo...if you dare. You've been warned.

The trailer, which premiered on popular horror site Bloody-Disgusting.com, can now be seen in its full gory glory at Goretorium.com. Get a brief glimpse into Roth’s twisted plans for the world’s first GORETORIUM where his unfiltered approach to horror will be brought from the screen to reality when the mythical Hotel Delmont comes to terrifying life on the Las Vegas Strip.

The self-guided horror experience begins in the lobby of the eerie hotel and unveils gruesome sights of past hotel guest victims, and the serial-killing family behind the deeds at every turn. Employing high-tech Vegas showmanship with old-fashioned scares, the terrifying labyrinth of live actors, animatronic frights and stunning special effects is contained in a vintage hotel setting that rivals Hollywood’s best movie sets. Fans can expect both the trailer and GORETORIUM to have all the gory, classic scares amplified with the edgy spin that has made Roth the new mastermind of horror genre.

Eli Roth’s GORETORIUM is the brainchild of Roth, best known as the creator of the “Hostel” and “Cabin Fever” franchises, and for his role in front of the camera as Donny "The Bear Jew" Donowitz in Quentin Tarantino's “Inglourious Basterds” for which he won SAG Best Ensemble and BFCA Critic's Choice Award for Best Acting Ensemble.
