ScareLA Friday the 13th Promotion





If you haven't purchased tickets to ScareLA: the Los Angeles Halloween convention yet, don't fear! To celebrate the full moon appearing on Friday the 13th, ScareLA invites you to try your luck with their spooktacular ticket promotion. For every thirtheen minute of every hour on Friday the 13th they will be releasing ticket discount codes to their event this August. Check out the full press release below!

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- June 13, 2014 --  ScareLA, the first-ever Southern California Halloween convention, announced today the launch of it’s “Fright Moon” promotion. Starting at 13 minutes past midnight release heart-stopping limited-time offers across its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and e-mail channels. Fans will get the chance to buy tickets with discounts ranging from $5 to 75%. Some may even score a free pass. 

Our Fright Moon promotion is the work of true evil genius, and a cheerful nod to all things dark and spooky” shares ScareLA Founder Lora Ivanova who is co-producing the event with David Markland. “Whatever bizarre things may happen on this day, this Friday 13 full moon will surely bring incredibly good luck to our fans,” Markland adds.

Along with the Fright Moon promo, the convention announced a titillating sneak peak into their education programming revealing 13 top-notch classes on animatronics, unusual costumes, Halloween DIY hacks and even expert scares.   

ScareLA returns to downtown Los Angeles on August 9 and 10, 2014 at The Reef (formerly known as LA Mart). The event celebrates the West Coast’s Halloween, haunt, and horror community and fans with exclusive presentations, industry panels, hands-on workshops, onsite attractions and an exhibitor show floor designed to inspire and promote play. 

The convention’s 2014 program will feature sneak previews and behind-the-scenes looks at the most anticipated Halloween events in the region. Confirmed participants include: Universal Studios Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights, Knott’s Halloween Haunt, Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, The Great Horror Campout, The Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor and over 30 of the top scare attractions in the Southwest. 

ScareLA sets itself apart from other horror or haunted attraction conventions by focusing on engaging attendees with interactive and educational experiences at every turn. Opening its doors for the first time in 2013, ScareLA attracted nearly 4,000 passionate Halloween fans, professionals and members of the media. "


More details:

ScareLA will release 24 ticket discount codes on Friday, June 13th. The first code will be released at 12:13 am!

These codes will appear throughout ScareLA's TwitterInstagram, and Facebook page. Also don't forget to sign up on the ScareLA mailing list if you haven't already!

Win tickets to the Raymond Hill Mortuary Haunted Attraction!

Haunt enthusiasts! The folks over at Evil Twin Studios are giving away two tickets to their brand new haunted attraction opening this October. This year, Evil Twin Studios is transforming the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena, California into the the Raymond Hill Mortuary. Not many details have been revealed about what will be lurking in the dark at this new haunt but they did release a chilling video teaser on their Instagram page. Hey Halloween fans I have spooky treat for you! Thanks to fellow haunt enthusiast, Phil Crain, I have new information about the upcoming volume of The Halloween Experience to share! If you are unfamiliar with The Halloween Experience DVD series, it provides all the fun and scares of haunted attractions in the comfort of your own home. You can check out my review of The Halloween Experience Volume One here

New terror awaits you in the latest installment of The Halloween Experience! It will feature five brand new hair raising attractions: The Empty Grave, Haunted Hollywood Sports, Scream in The Dark, Perdition Home, and last but not least Labyrinth of Lost Relics. Volume 2 will also include a new host to guide you through this haunting ride, Bloody Ben played by Ben Diskin.
