Halloween 2016 Finds at HomeGoods Part 2

Almost forgot to post the rest of my Halloween finds from HomeGoods from this year. This month is going by incredibly fast, it's hard to keep up. I can't believe October is almost over! Where did the month go?

Anyways, I noticed I made a lot more return visits to HomeGoods this year then I have in the past. They had a lot of neat pieces for Halloween 2016, from larger than life decorations to unique kitchenware that you don't see anywhere else. I didn't buy too much from HomeGoods this year though, I tried to keep my Halloween shopping down to a minimum due to lack of space. Even though I don't have the room right now, that doesn't keep me away from looking at their Halloween goodness!

Here's the rest of my Halloween HomeGoods finds, enjoy! Check out Part 1 here.

He's out looking for a top to chop...

Double, double, toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble

Any relation to the The Three Broomsticks inn & pub?

Gotta have Halloween shaped pasta! That reminds me, I haven't been able to find Kraft's Trick or Cheesy Halloween dinner. Has anyone been able to find it this year?

What's your favorite scary movie?

This cauldron could hold a lot of candy!

These bat bowls are adorable.

Don't fear the reaper!

Something is lurking in this mailbox...

This coffin was huge!

This gargoyle statue creepin' in the back of the Halloween decor is pretty neat.

Headless Horseman, is that you?

These Halloween themed slot machines are really unique, saw about three different variations on return visits.

Always love the vintage inspired Halloween art prints from HomeGoods.

Here comes the bride! The Bride of Frankenstein!

A cauldron made especially for Halloween treats.

Ghostbusters Menu Offerings from WayBack Burgers

I'll admit I've never heard of Wayback Burgers until this month when I discovered their burger joint on social media. I came across their advertisement celebrating the release of Ghostbusters (2016) on Blu-ray and DVD with menu items inspired by the film. I knew right away that I had to try these Ghostbusters themed offerings, I have a weakness for movie inspired food promotions. When I looked up where their locations were, I feared that I wouldn't be able to experience these ghostly food items for myself. To my surprise, the nearest location was only about a half hour drive. So I grabbed my proton pack and headed over.

I knew right away I was in the right place when a familiar looking spook greeted me in the window.

I tried out each of their supernatural menu offerings while I was there. Before ordering I didn't fully realize how much food I was getting myself into, I probably shouldn't of ordered the fries. But no regrets here! I definitely ordered enough Ghostbusters grub to bust some ghosts and then some.

It looks like a class 5 full roaming vapor has slimed all over my shake. Just kidding! This is how the shake looks. The Stay Puft Slime Milkshake is a combination of smooth vanilla ice cream with flavors of toasty marshmallows, gooey key lime sauce and mini marshmallows on top. Though my shake didn't come with the mini marshmallows on top but it was all good, it didn't take away from the deliciousness of this shake.

This was the crown jewel of their Ghostbusters themed offerings - it was so good! It was worth the trip out there and future trips back.

The second ghostly offering I tried was the Ghostbustin' Burger. This burger has two beef patties with pepper jack cheese and spicy ghost pepper sauce oozing throughout the burger. I'm usually not a fan of spicy food, I typically stay away from it but I ain't afraid of no burgers! To my surprise it wasn't too spicy and was really good. Better quality then the usual fast food burgers. Even though it wasn't too spicy, I definitely needed that Stay Puft Slime Milkshake with this burger.

It didn't hit me until later that I noticed something was missing from my Ghostbustin' Burger, the little Ghostbusters themed pick as seen on the promotions. I awkwardly asked one of the employees if they had any of these burger picks left and was sad to hear they were all gone. About five minutes later,  the same employee I asked said she found one out in the back. So thank you mysterious employee you made my day.

How cool is this Ghostbusters themed pick?

The last eerie food encounter I tried was the Mac & Cheese Bites with Ghost Pepper sauce. These fried nuggets are filled with cheesy goodness. The sauce that was on the Ghostbustin' Burger was the same sauce that came with these cheesy nuggets. Wait a min... I think I'm missing some Mac & Cheese Bites. I think Slimer took some while I wasn't looking.

I almost forgot to take a picture of these delicious bites, I didn't realize how addicting they were going to be. I can't remember if I have had deep fried macaroni and cheese before. If I haven't, I found a new food to love. Never knew I needed these in my life.

I'm glad I found out about these frightfully fun menu items before they were gone for good, even if it was late in the month. These limited menu items won't be haunting for long, they're available from September 6 until October 31st. If you have a WayBack Burgers location near you, I definitely recommend checking it out especially for that Stay Puft Marshmallow Milkshake, it would make a great Halloween treat!

Halloween 2016 Finds at HomeGoods Part 1

Hello boils and ghouls! It's been awhile since I've posted anything spooky. This year has been quite a tedious and dispiriting one for me, but it's time to get back into the swing of things! I already feel like Halloween is sneaking up on me, it's really horrific how behind I am.

To get back on track, I popped into HomeGoods this week to see what Halloween goodness was lurking in their stores. I found an endless array of delightfully ghoulish kitchen items, frightfully fun decor, and much more! I didn't buy too much this trip, but I did buy a really neat skull serving plate which you can see down below.

Here are my Halloween finds that I discovered at my local HomeGoods, enjoy!

This eerie drink dispenser is being guarded by two shiny skulls.

 A fancy spooky scary skeleton.

I remember seeing these 3 tier serving platters from last year, still think they are perfect for Halloween parties.

This Frank N. Stein Co. plate is pretty neat.

A worried skeleton plate, I think he just realized how many days are left until Halloween. I know how you feel skeleton...

This silver polished skull serving plate came home with me.

These mini jack o' lantern towels are too cute. Perfect for adding a Halloween touch to your bathroom.

A very chill skeleton bowl.

A unique Ouija board inspired dessert platter.

This cookie jar has a very Tim Burton feel to it, don't cha think?

These coffin-like serving trays come in three different sizes.

The bat designs on this drink dispenser are giving me some Disneyland Haunted Mansion vibes.

6 heads are better then one?

I am in love with this sign!!! If only I had room...

This spooky cat cookie kit is purr-ty cute. These cookies would go great next to the gingerdead men cookies

Tiny spook lights.

This was one of my more unique finds at HomeGoods, it's a skeleton hearse carriage made out of some type of metal.

Here's the front of the skeleton hearse carriage.

I like the three-dimensional skulls on this ice bucket.

A plate featuring a victorian spooky scary skeleton with a spooky scary skeleton dog.

This intricate Dia De Los Muertos carved pumpkin almost looks real!

I always admire that HomeGoods has very detailed bust statue decorations for Halloween each year.

Yes, yes and yes!

I feel like if I stare at this mirror too long something gruesome will appear.

I think this spooky ghoul is more ready for Halloween then I am...

I put a spell on you and now you're mine....

These busts are absolutely bootiful!

Can it be Halloween right meow?
