The Ghostbusters: Afterlife trailer materialize online yesterday morning, the trailer gave us a glimpse into a new chapter in the Ghostbusters universe. The trailer definitely has some Goonies and Stranger Things like vibes (probably due to Finn Wolfhard). I do love Stranger Things so no complaints here! If you haven't watched it yet, you can watch it down below!
Synopsis from the Ghostbusters website:
"From director Jason Reitman and producer Ivan Reitman, comes the next chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe. In Ghostbusters: Afterlife, when a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind. The film is written by Jason Reitman & Gil Kenan."
Is that a terror dog I see? Does that mean Gozer is coming back? So many questions! I'm already a fan of this different approach and I'm excited to see where it goes!
The international trailer was also released on Monday and it includes new footage! One of the new scenes includes a fun interaction between Mckenna Grace's character Phoebe and her friend played by Logan Kim testing out some familiar ghost-busting equipment. Watch it below!
